Game Day at Empower Field
Sunday afternoon was the highlight of the entire trip , game day at Empower Field at Mile High. As soon as we arrived at the stadium, the atmosphere was unreal. Fans from both sides were already gathered outside, grilling, cheering, and showing off their team colors. The mix of red and orange made the entire parking lot feel like a huge celebration.
Before heading inside, we set up outside to tailgate and get ready for the game. I was the only Chiefs fan in our group since my wife and her family are all Broncos fans, so there was plenty of friendly teasing back and forth. It made the pregame even more fun and added to the excitement.
Once we found our seats, the view of the field was amazing. The stadium is huge, and hearing the roar of the crowd echo through it added to the adrenaline. When the players came out for warm-ups, the noise level jumped even higher. You could feel everyone around you lock into game mode and get ready for kickoff.
The game itself was intense from start to finish. Watching the action live is so different from watching at home, you feel every moment.
Overall, the entire game day experience was incredible. Whether it was the fans, the stadium, or the game itself, this was definitely one of the most memorable sporting events I’ve ever attended.
